Wes Montgomery, Larry Carlton, Pat Martino, Jim Hall, Joe Pass, Hiram Bullock, Joe Satriani, Frank Gambale, Steve Vai, Tony MacAlpine, Maybon Lewis "Teenie" Hodges, Sly & the Family Stone, Toto, George Benson, Norman Brown, Michael McDonald, Curtis Mayfield, Holland-Dozier-Holland, Burt Bacharach & Dionne Warwick, Kenny G, Michael Bolton, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Motown, the Philadelphia Soul, Smooth Jazz, Bebop, John Coltrane, Classical.. Vincent Persichetti "20th Century Harmony" and George Russell's "Lydian Chromatic Concept for Tonal Organization" and a favorite book is "Depths of Glory" by Irving Stone about the Impressionistic movement.
